May 1996 Zenith Chemical Systems Limited is founded by Ringo Francis, Colin Fogarty and Derek Lafbery and in August 1996 starts trading from its first warehouse in St Albans.
July 1998 and Zenith Chemical Systems Limited relocates to its current headquarters in Welham Green, and is now turning over £4 million and employing nearly 50 people.
First Satellite depot opens in Trafford Park, Manchester in November 1999.
October 2004 Zenith Chemical Systems Limited acquires SB Chemicals Limited a liquid chemicals manufacturer in Lisburn, Northern Ireland as part of its intended strategy to go back upstream and retain manufacturing margin, previously given away to third parties.
2004 and in readiness for its intended IPO Zenith Chemicals Systems is renamed Zenith Hygiene, better reflecting the Groups total capability and the PLC vehicle is created and assumes ownership of SB Chemicals, Zenith Hygiene Systems and Zenith Hygiene Systems Ireland.
February 2005 and Zenith Hygiene Group plc successfully lists on AIM, placing 4,500,000 additional shares with 30 new investors ranging from high net worth individuals to asset management companies handling £ billions in funds.
March 2005 Zenith Hygiene Group plc acquires Quantum Hygiene, based in Kent, and in doing so consolidates its position as the no.1 provider to restaurants, hotels and leisure businesses in the South East of England.
August 2005 and Zenith strengthens its positioning within the private healthcare markets through its acquisition of Renaissance Laundry and Cleaning Supplies Limited based in Ross-on-Wye, Herefordshire.
November 2005 Zenith Hygiene Group issues first set of annual accounts as a listed, public company reporting record levels of turnover, employment, staff share ownership and profitability.
